Department of Meat Science and Technology has arranged many seminars and training workshops with the collaboration of national and international funding agencies to address different industry issues so stakeholders can perform better in relevant markets. Due to the unique capabilities and facilities in the department related to the meat sector in Pakistan, provincial and national participants participated in these events.

A training workshop on ‘Novel Meat Processing Techniques in Buffalo’ was organized by the department of Meat Science and Technology, UVAS Lahore (17 February 2019). This workshop was designed to provide hands-on training for the buffalo farmers, meat industry personnel and post graduate scholars regarding novel meat processing techniques being used to improve buffalo meat quality.
