Collaboration with NGOs to tackle the SDGs (student volunteering programs, research programs, development of educational resources)

The Meat Department at UVAS collaborates with NGOs to address the SDGs through various initiatives, including student volunteering programs, research projects, and educational resource development. With the same spirit, the department has started an entrepreneurial programme through which, every year, different students will take over the shop's management and run it independently. During their studies, students got the opportunity to visit different meat industries to broaden their vision by observing the standard working practices.
