The Department of Dairy Technology at UVAS takes an active role in initiating and participating in cross-sectoral dialogues focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Institute of Food Science and Technology KFUEIT, RYK hosted a one-day conference in collaboration with the Department of Dairy Technology, UVAS, Ravi Campus on the theme “Capacity Building of Dairy Farmers in Southern Punjab. The seminar was attended by 80 participants, including progressive dairy farmers, industry stakeholders and dairy technologists of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology. Dr. Bilal Tahir (Director ORIC-KFUEIT RYK), Dr. Muhammad Aslam Khan, Dr. Mian Tariq Mahmood, Mr. Mujeeb Arjumand Khan, Mr. Nayyar Idrees, Mr. Bilal Israel, and Mr. Asif Iftikhar (General Manager- JK Dairies) attended the conference as honored guests.
