Collaboration with NGOs to tackle the SDGs (student volunteering programs, research programs, development of educational resources)

2023

The Dairy Department at UVAS collaborates with NGOs to address the SDGs through various initiatives, including student volunteering programs, research projects, and educational resource development. They work in tandem with Dairy Farmers Associations and Kissan NGOs to implement sustainable agricultural practices, promote dairy industry growth, and empower local communities. These partnerships facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and resources to support sustainable development in the dairy sector and contribute to the achievement of SDGs.

2022

 Collaborative activities were carried out at the Dairy Forum with Dr. Amjad Saqib, Chairman of the Akhuwat Foundation.

2021

Department of Dairy Technology UVAS signed an agreement with Dalum Academy of Agricultural Business Denmark (DAAB) Denmark. DAAB is a semi-public Vocational Academy, supported by the Danish Ministry of Education. UVAS&DAAB agree to cooperate within the field of education, exchange programs of faculty, students and trainees; training of veterinary students/ veterinary extension services, distance learning programs, designing of need based curriculum as well as cooperation within the development of vocational education.

2 Department of Dairy Technology UVAS signed an agreement with Kold College (KolD Denmark. KolD is a self-governing institution with a board of 14 members. The two parties agree to develop future cooperation into the fields of Dairy Production, Dairy Farm Care, Dairy Processing, Milk Value addition and support services etc.
