• Dr. Waqas Ahmad (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell of CVAS Narowal) was nominated for fully funded 6 weeks ‘Skill Based Faculty Development Program’ by the Vice Chancellor (Prof. Dr. Talat Nasser Pasha) of UVAS Lahore at the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) from 01 July, 2019 to 09 August 2019. The program was organized by National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) at the Higher Education Commission, Islamabad for faculty development program to train in the aspects of teaching, research & leadership and cross sectorial discussion of various issues of education.
• Dr. Waqas Ahmad (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell of CVAS Narowal) won scholarship to attend the Keystone Symposia’s eSymposia on Tuberculosis: Science Aimed at Ending the Epidemic-EK10 held dated December 2-4, 2020.
• Dr. Waqas Ahmad (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell of CVAS Narowal) was Invited speaker for webinar at ‘World Rabies Day’ at ISNTD Network dated 28 Sep, 2020.
• Dr. Waqas Ahmad (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell of CVAS Narowal) participated in the 8th Congress of the European Academy of Paediatric Societies (EAPS), dated October 16-19, 2020.
• Dr. Waqas Ahmad (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology and focal person of Quality Enhancement Cell of CVAS Narowal) participated in the online ESCMID Conference on Coronavirus Disease (ECCVID) this was held live online September 23-25, 2020 and on demand until December 25, 2020.
