Guidelines for All Students/Faculty/Staff of All Campuses

  1. All entrants of the university campuses/hostels will be monitored, no one will be allowed to enter without a face mask.
  2. Every student will submit affidavit and Health Declaration form available on UVAS website duly signed by the parents.
  3. Students will be seated in lecture rooms / labs keeping maximum possible distancing.
  4. No student / teacher / staff will enter in lecture room / lab without mask. A student entering in lecture room / lab without face mask will be fined Rs.100/- by the respective teacher and conveyed to the concerned Dean office for implementation.
  5. Every student will observe social distancing and prescribed protocols for public places outside the class rooms in the University.
  6. In case of symptoms (fever, flu or cough, etc.) suspected for COVID-19, the student will report immediately to the COVID-19 Help desks in medical center/ hostel warden office.
  7. Every student will perform frequent hand washing and sanitization.
  8. Doors and windows of the lecture rooms and labs will remain open. Air conditioners of the lecture rooms / labs will remain off.
  9. Every supervisor of PG students will issue a certificate of permission to work on-campus or reside in hostels to his/her students, after considering the stage of research/thesis write up (for 3rd Semester onward MPhil/Ph.D scholar under UVAS Policy).
  10. Synopsis / Thesis Defense in Departmental Board of Studies / faculty scrutiny committee / ASRB will be managed through online video conferencing.
  11. All Café’s/Mess facilities will provide takeaway services only.
  12. Disposal of face masks will be allowed only in designated dust bins and Office of Estate management will ensure burning of these disposed masks on daily basis. It will be prohibited to throw face mask in open area or in general purpose dust bins. Spitting and littering is prohibited. The violators will be fined Rs. 100/- by the office of Director students’ affairs.
  13. Extracurricular activity / gathering of more than 25 persons is not allowed without prior permission from the competent authority. Furthermore, all gatherings will follow social distancing guidelines.
  14. During prayer, Students / staff / faculty will follow the guidelines for masjids issued by the government of Pakistan.
