LAHORE (16-08-22): UVAS Debating Society (UDS) under the umbrella of Senior Tutor Office of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore organized an ‘In-House Trilingual (Punjab, Urdu and English) Declamation Debating Competition Mastodonia-2022’ here in City Campus. A large number of students from different department of UVAS participated in this competition.
In Punjab Declamation contest, Muhammad Usman (DVM) won 1st position, Muhammad Uzair (DVM) got 2nd and Irtaza stood on 3rd position.
In Urdu Declamation contest, Usman (DVM) won 1st position and Muhammad Izhan (DVM) got 2nd position.
In English Declamation contest, Uswa (Human Nutrition Department) won 1st position and Faiza (IBBT) got 2nd position while Nabeeha Waseen stood on 3rd position.
Dean faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman chaired the concluding ceremony of the competition along with Principal Officer Students Affairs Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf, Convener (UDS) Prof Dr Asim Aslam, Senior Tutor Prof Dr Ali Raza Awan, Dr Maryam Javed and distributed shields and certificates among the winners of contest while a number of students and faculty members attended on the occasion.
Later students presented a medley of national songs and also cake cutting ceremony arranged to celebrate 75th Independence Day of Pakistan.
