Two Day Workshop on “Advanced Detection of Food Borne Pathogens”  

from December 26 To 27, 2019


Food borne illnesses are majorly caused by the pathogens like species of Salmonella, Campylobacter, Listeria, Escherichia, etc. Their detection by PCR can reduce the processing time in commercial settings. Keeping in view, the requirements of the professionals working on food safety and quality management in food industry, a short training module to enhance their competencies has been prepared for two day workshop on “Advanced Detection of Food Borne Pathogens” to be conducted at Department of Microbiology UVAS, Lahore from December 26 to 27, 2019 (Copy attached). Initially 10 nominations from various industries having such laboratories will be entertained on first come first serve basis. The training workshop will provide maximum opportunity for hands on training.
