Biography

Mr. Nabeel Shahid, is a lecturer of Pharmaceutics at Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS), University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore, Pakistan. He holds Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) and Masters of Philosophy (M. Phil) degree (Pharmaceutics) from The University of the Lahore (UOL). His M. Phil research was “Formulation and Evaluation of Compressed Coated Polypill with Mucoadhesive Core Comprising of Anti-Hyperlipidemic and Anti-Platelet Agents”.

He started his career in 2011 in Sales and Marketing as Assistant Product Manager and served at Mass Pharma Pvt. Ltd. (Marketing Head Office).

Later, he joined English Pharma Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Lahore as Production Pharmacist in the meantime he was called upon by Faculty of Pharmacy, Superior University Lahore where he served for 3 years as Lecturer until he was selected at IPS, UVAS.   

He was appointed as lecturer in IPS w. e. f., July 2nd, 2014 and for the last one year he has been actively involved in teaching of undergraduate and research supervision of post graduate pharmacy students to align the theory and practical training with the international trends in practice, research and teaching of pharmacy subjects. He is skillful in conducting research in pharmaceutical technology, formulation designing and Novel dosage forms study. He has attended various Trainings and seminars mentioned below to strengthen his intellectual ability.
