Biography

Dr. Javed is young and prominent researcher in the field of Animal Genomics. She is a graduate in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with gold medal and won numerous awards and medals for her excellent academic record and research contributions in livestock genomics. Some of them are  Best Student in Academics by Governor Punjab, Silver medal in Physiology, Distinction Certificate in Pathology, Star Laureate Award in Agriculture Sciences, Best Young Researcher Award by NAYS, Best Teacher Award (twice) by Faculty of Biosciences, UVAS, many honorary memberships as ISAH, Mexico; ABSANZ, New Zealand and Best Presentation Awards. In her research projects, she has identified various novel genomic regions, which provide useful insight into the unique genomic architecture of our indigenous animals. She has published her research work in more than sixty ISI index journals. She has presented her research contribution in various scientific events at USA, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Turkey and Netherland. She has organized national and International scientific events in University of veterinary and animal sciences and presented her research findings to local stake holders, animal breeders and livestock professionals in Government and private sector. Ultimate benefit and sole purpose of her research is to raise the living standards of local farmers and to impact the economy of our beloved country Pakistan.
