Biography

Asif Nadeem earned his B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. (Hons) at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, M.Phil at Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore and Ph.D. at University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. Prior to joining the faculty at UVAS in 2007, he served as Research Associate in different research projects. He has privileged of the research-training with Dr. Hasan Khatib, UW–Madison, USA. He is author and co-author of a number of peer-reviewed publications (impact factor=30). Dr. Asif’s research interests are to understand the genetic basis of quantitative trait variation.
