DESCRIPTION:

  • An erect, slender, hairy or glabrous fragrant perennial herb, 15-30 cm high.
  • Leaves are roundly ovate, acute or sub obtuse, toothed & hairy
  • Shortly petioled or sessile.
  • Flowers ellipsoid slightly keeled, pale yellow

PART USED:

  • Leaves, flowering tops and stems

TASTE:

  • Aromatic, somewhat bitter

PERIOD OF OCCURRENCE:

  • Propagated from January to February
