BIOGRAPHY:

Dr. Muhammad Usman Khalid, Assistant Professor, Department of Fisheries & Aquaculture, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Lahore, holds M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees in Zoology. His fundamental expertise is in the field of Fresh water Fisheries and Aquatic Toxicology. He studied the effect of toxicants on aquatic life, especially fisheries for conservation of fish diversity. His ongoing projects are on the usage of organic and inorganic amendments for the decontamination of waste water to overcome the shortage of freshwater and to conserve energy sources. Dr. Muhammad Usman Khalid has significant research publications in internationally indexed journals with impact factor.
