Biography:

Dr. FayyazRasool is working in University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistanin the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture since 1st July, 2006 to date. He has worked as Fish Farm Manager/Lecture from the date of joining to 19th November, 2012 and working as Assistant Professor onward. He earnedhis M. Sc. and M. Phil. Degrees in Zoology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and Ph. D.degreein Fisheries and Aquaculture from University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore. He is the person who started research in the field of Fish Population and Molecular Genetics in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture. In faculty Development program he Dr. Fayyaz has visited the Aqua-wales facilities of the University of Whales Swansea, UK and implemented the knowledge learned from there in field of intensive culture of Fish.Dr. Fayyazhas published worth mentioning literature in national and international journals, in newspapers and proceedings of different national and International conferences. He has also published a Book in with international publishers. He delivered lectures in various workshops to create awareness among public about the significance of fish farming and management of earthen ponds.
