Biography

Mr. Tariq Mahmood is Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics & Computer science, Faculty of Life Science Business Management and holds M.Sc. and M.Phil degrees in the discipline of Statistics. He has worked on various prestigious positions like Assistant Academic Officer, Assistant Hostel Superintendent, Incharge Animal Husbandry Sectional Library, Vice President Indoor Games & Badminton Club, President Weightlifting & Tag of War Clubs, Deputy Hall Warden, 1st UVAS Assistant Controller Examinations, Resident Tutor, Member of the 1st UVAS Syndicate, Officer Incharge Computer Library Hostels, Superintendent Iqbal, Sir Syed and Saith Sarwar Halls, Incharge University Auditorium and  Lectures/classes by the Virtual University.  He also received various certificates from N. C. C. Cadet, basic unit leader certificate, certificate of computer training LOTUS-123, certificate of participation from UVAS, Comsats Lahore and LCWU Lahore. He is also member of Pakistan Statistical Association. Beside these, he published various research papers and book at national level like Versatile Master Statistical Tables.
