Biography

Dr. Muhammad Bilal, is Assistant Professor, Department of Statistics and Computer Science, University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan and holds B.Sc, M.Sc. and M.Phil degrees in Statistics from GC, University, Lahore. Mr. Bilal’s fundamental expertise is in the field of Statistics and bio-statistics as well as expert in different Statistical softwares such as SPSS, MINITAB, SAS, STATA, STATISTICA, OPENEPI etc. Besides, other research area of interest include Applied Statistics, Multivariate Analysis Time series Analysis and Experimental Design. Mr. Bilal has more than 15 research publications, 05 conference proceedings, 01 international book. He presented research findings in 08 international and national scientific conferences in various countries including USA, Dubai, Kuwait, Turkey and Malaysia. He has expertise of conducting Statistical Analysis in researches of different fields. He has over six years of teaching experiences. He has successfully completed training on Statistical Analytic System(SAS) from the Jackson State University, USA and also developed a “Bio-Statistical Consulting Center” is a Project under PAK-US Science and Technology Cooperation Program in UVAS. He is also member of various bodies in UVAS.

Area of Interest:

  • Research interests include topics related to survey sampling, classification methods and ensemble classifiers in general, while successive sampling, classification trees and bagging methods more specifically. Recently, we are working on acceptance sampling plans and Quality Control Charts which are one of the hot areas in Quality Control research.
