Director’s Message In UVAS, Quality Enhancement Cell was established in 2007. The purpose of establishing QEC is to ensure the quality practices in curriculum, research and assessment. During the journey of achieving many milestones (national and international rankings and excellence in higher education), UVAS implemented policies and good practices of Quality Assurance Agency, Higher Education Commission, Islamabad to attain international compatibility and competitiveness. Internal Quality Assurance mechanism in all Programs has now become regular practice which is consequently helping the institution for external quality evaluations. Self-evaluation process and third party evaluations enabled UVAS to improve and attain ultimate aim of excellence in higher education as well. The role of QEC is very crucial in rationalizing external quality assurance and maintaining academic’s quality and standards.
