UVAS organised Hands-on training on “Mice Handling, Tissue Sampling & Oocyte Collection”
LAHORE (09-11-18): The credibility and acceptability of results of an experiment using mice depends how they were handled during trial. Keeping in view the Department of Anatomy and Histology of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organised a daylong Hands-on Training on “Mice Handling, Tissue Sampling & Oocyte Collection” here in City Campus Lahore.
Dean Faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman chaired the concluding ceremony of the training and distributed certificates among participants and resource persons. In his address, Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman appreciated the efforts of the department for arranging such trainings on regular basis.
Chairperson Department of Anatomy and Histology Dr Hafsa Zaneb was the chief organizer of this training and Hafiz Faseeh ur Rehman was the Training Coordinator while other resource persons of training were Dr Saima Masood and Dr Mirza Muhammad Usman. In which undergraduate and postgraduate students from Department of Zoology, Government College University (GCU) Lahore, Department of Food Science & Human Nutrition, Biological Sciences and Biochemistry from UVAS were participated.
