1-Month Basic A.I Training for Community Workers of Gilgit-Baltistan concludes at Ravi campus Pattoki
Kasur (19-01-18): The Department of Theriogenology of the University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Directorate of Livestock-project Gilgit Baltistan conducted one month basic artificial insemination training for community workers of Gilgit Baltistan at Theriogenology teaching hospital UVAS Ravi campus, Pattoki.
The objective of the training was to educate and train the participants on the application of artificial insemination at community level. Along with theory and practical sessions, the training included field visits to various experimental stations and semen production units.
UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding session of the training and distributed certificates among the participants while Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Chairman Department of Theriogenology Dr Amjad Riaz, Training Coordinator Dr Abdul Rehman and a number of participants attended on the occasion.
