UVAS pay rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam on his birth anniversary

LAHORE (28-12-18): The UVAS Literary and Art Society QIRTAS of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) arranged programme in connection with "Jashan-e-Jinnah" to pay rich tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan on his 142nd birth anniversary. In which different activity featured including documentary on the life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his political freedom movement for separate homeland while poetry, speeches and patriotic song presented by students.
While addressing the audience, UVAS Senior Tutor Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf shed light on Quaid-e-Azam’s life-long political struggle and his guiding principles of unity, faith, and discipline. He also spoke about the thinking and ideology of Quaid- e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for creating the map of this homeland. A large number of students from different departments of UVAS were present to pay homage to the father of the nation. Similar programmes were also held in other campuses of UVAS.
