UVAS launches students business start-ups
LAHORE (30-03-18): The Business Incubation Centre (BIC) and Directorate of University Advancement and Financial Aid (DUA&FA) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore jointly organised UVAS students business start-up launching ceremony here on Friday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the launching ceremony while UVAS Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Director Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) Dr Hafsa Zenab, Director University Advancement and Financial Aid Dr Shoaib Sarwar and a large number of students were present. All the three start-ups are unique in their ideas and execution.
Mr Muhammad Zaid is a MBA graduate his idea is based on animal nutrition & silage making with name of Green Gold Silage, Ayesha Ikhlaq who also a gold medalist in Master Business Finance (MBF) and her idea is about the Garments Designing with the name of PAMUK, this is also worth mentioning that she is the first female entrepreneur from UVAS while Mr Ahmad Ali who is a veterinarian and his idea is Urea Molasses Block & Animal Feed with the name of Boss Veterinary Services.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Pasha asked the students to bring innovative ideas and UVAS will provide all possible assistance in implementing students plans/ideas regarding starting their new businesses. He appreciated the efforts of students and their mentors.
