Training workshop on skill enhancement for LSTC teaching staff
LAHORE (31-03-17): The Centre for Educational Policy and Administration (CEPA) of University of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Lahore in collaboration with Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab arranged a two-day workshop on “Skills Enhancement of Teaching Staff of Livestock Services & Training Centers/Institutes.
Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I) chaired the concluding session of the training on Friday and distributed certificates among participants. CEPA President Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman, LSTC Bahadurnagar Okara Director Dr Tasneem Akhtar, Chairperson Department of Anatomy and Histology Dr Hafsa Zaneb, Dr Muhammad Asad Ali and teachers from LSTC/ institutes were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Pasha advised participants and teachers to use in classrooms the knowledge and skills they learnt during the workshop. He said, “Through innovative knowledge we can impart the best knowledge and experiences to our young veterinarians.” He said that in future UVAS will set up a teacher training centre for the uplift of veterinary education and profession.
