Pet Centre organised Snake Show at UVAS

LAHORE (02-03-17): The Pet Centre of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organised a Snake Show and demonstration here at city campus Lahore on Thursday.
Retired Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf inaugurated snake show while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Dr Asim Khalid, Dr Uzma Durrani, Renowned Snake Handler Imran Mumtaz and a large number of students, faculty members were also present on the occasion.
In which various species of snakes were displayed including non-venomous and venomous snakes e.g. krate, vipers, black cobra, red spotted and earth boa snakes, Indian rock python etc.
The main purpose of the show is to impart demonstration, knowledge and information especially among the young veterinary students about this unique creature of nature. During the event Dr Asim Khalid and Imran Mumtaz were also demonstrate to visitors about the each species of snakes, their qualities, habitat and feed etc. UVAS provided an opportunity to students and visitors to closely observe and hold the non-venomous snakes.
