UVAS Vets Care Club office-bearers sworn-in
LAHORE (31-01-17): The new office-bearers of the Vets Care Club of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore were sworn-in here on Tuesday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the oath-taking ceremony while Dean Faculty of Life Science Business Management Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Dr Shahzad Naveed Jedoon, Dr Fayyaz Yasin and many representatives from industries and a large number of students were present. Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha administered oath to the office-bearers of (VCC), including their newly elected president Iftikhar Hussain.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha congratulated the new office bearers and advised them to create awareness among journal public through VCC club to eat healthy food like egg and pure milk which is the necessary for the growth of human body to solve the malnutrition issue in the country. He said being a veterinarian it is our duty to organize various discussion programmes to identify deficiencies; impediments involve in the development of livestock sector and identified deficiencies, impediments involve in livestock sector and through discussion find solutions. He also lauded the effort of (VCC) members performed their volunteer services actively in 2016 for the treatment of the animals with honesty in the rural areas. He said such activities are necessary for professional skill development of the students.
