2-weeks 4th batch of SBBUVAS Sakrand faculty member and one month for DVM 4th year students trainings completed at UVAS
LAHORE (22-08-17): Two-week hands-on training of batch 4th young faculty members and one month for DVM 4th year students training for clinical skill enhancement from the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS) Sakrand (Sindh) completed at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore here on Tuesday.
Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad chaired the concluding session of the training programme arranged by the Faculty of Veterinary Science UVAS Lahore. The Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Nasim Ahmad distributed certificates among participants while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, Dr Aijaz Ali Channa and large number of students and faculty members from (SBBUVAS) Sakrand were present. The training was aimed to provide practical knowledge of different subjects and latest diagnostic techniques used in the field of veterinary profession to the training participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Nasim said that such trainings are necessary for young faculty members to enhance their teaching, communication and clinical skills. He advised participants to sit together and prepare a recommendation list for the enhancing of clinical facilities in SBBUVAS for the betterment of poor farmers community of Sakrand.
Prof Masood Rabbani said that UVAS playing a lead role for the uplift of veterinary profession in Pakistan through its quality of education and its doors are always open to help the people for providing technical and research assistance. He said such training must bring competency in their professional work and advised participants to must apply your knowledge in your practical field.
All the participants lauded the role of UVAS and its leadership for conducting training and providing a conducive platform for learning about innovative and practical knowledge.
